About this list

Saturday belongs to tournaments and to young players. The Caissa Center holds its Blitz-Masters and Rapid-Masters on Saturday afternoons every two months, and ChessBar München plays its Saturday rapid at Alter Simpl in Türkenstraße.

Schachfreunde München, Schach-Klub Freising and Schachklub Germering give the day to youth training: Schachfreunde München in the morning, Freising with a beginners' hour before the advanced group, Germering with a girls' group at the start of the afternoon. Freising pauses on public holidays and during the Christmas and summer school holidays, so its Saturday training is not held in those weeks.
